well, good friday morning to you. i m reena ninan. and i m phillip mena. we begin with those three fallen firefighters identified killed wednesday battling a wildfire in washington state. they were part of an elite group that scouts wildfires ahead of the arrival of larger groups of their colleagues. as the fight against the blaze that took their lives continues, they re being honored as heroes. this morning, a somber procession, more than a dozen fire and police vehicles escorting the bodies of three firefighters, 20-year-old tom zbyszewski, 26-year-old andrew zajac and 31-year-old richard wheeler dying on the front lines. all killed when their vehicle crashed overtaken by flames in twisp, washington. it hurts deep, but the job goes on. reporter: another firefighter, 25-year-old daniel lyon, suffering critical burns. this was his first season as a firefighter. he s the kind of kid that his mother and i and family are so proud of. reporter: lyon was flown to ....
good morning, anne-marie. here on wall street it is shaping up to be another bruising day. u.s. stock futures hit a six-month low this morning. wall street had its worst performance in 18 months thursday driven in part by a dramatic drop in the chinese stockmarket. a report found china s factory activity fell at its fastest pace in more than six years. after the devaluation of the chinese currency, there is worry that the slowdown in chinese economy could slow downworld economic growth. thursday all indicators were down, more than 2%. the dow lost 358 points, the s&p fell 43 points. the nasdaq dropped 141 points. asian stockmarkets tumbled following wall street s selloff. the shanghai composite lost 4%. meanwhile greece is apparently headed for another national election. after rebelling in parliament prime minister alexis tsipras said he s stepping down and calling for early elections. tsipras said he got the best bailout possible from eurozone countries. if he gets ....
