news out of baltimore. a massive house fire with six children unaccounted for. three other children and their mother were pulled out of the home. they are all in either serious or critical condition. brand-new this morning, maryland representative elijah cummings says the woman works for him. he released a statement saying my staff is a family and this unimaginable tragedy is shocking and heartbreaking to us all. jennifer fran yotty has the latest from the scene. reporter: here in northeast baltimore fire officials have just confirmed the nine children involved in the overnight fire are from the same family. as i step out of the way, you can see this home that caught fire after 12:30 last night here in the northeast section of town. four people were outside of the home when firefighters arrived. an adult female and three children. they have confirmed it s a mom and her three children taken to the hospital. two of those children now in also in critical condition and six chil

quijano: good evening, i m elaine quijano. south florida is bracing for possible floods. a system that could become a tropical storm is churning off the coast threatening the region with several days of heavy rain. it comes as the miami area is struggling to contain the zika virus spread by local mosquitoes which can breed in just a bottle cap of water. omar villafranca is in miami beach with more on the double threat. omar? reporter: sunbathers flocked in the sun before the storms roll in. the ocean winds are expected to bring in several days of rain including heavy downpours. right now the main concern at the shore is the strong rip current. on land health officials want to make sure pooling water from possible floods doesn t turn into a widespread breeding ground for mosquitoes carrying the zika virus. property owners face a $1,000 fine for not getting rid of pools of standing water. local mosquitoes. 38 of those cases are right here in miami dade county. elaine? qui
