Laboratory Director for its new
Advanced Manufacturing Lab nearing completion late this summer. The Lab will be equipped with state-of-the–art, Additive Manufacturing (AM) equipment focused on manufacturing-scale metal and polymer AM.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of VT-MC, this individual will provide technical expertise, supervision, operations and maintenance planning and scheduling of the Advanced Manufacturing Lab.  The Lab Director will also plan and provide management of day-to-day Lab operations and activities. RANDOLPH CENTER More than 250 Vermont educators, business advisors, business leaders, and students will come together virtually on Feb. 10 from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to join the 12th annual Vermont Student Entrepreneurship Day free event. The theme of this year’s event is Inspiring Vermont Entrepreneurs to – ReFocus – ReImagine – ReEngineer.  We’ve Got You Covered.
As the very first virtual Entrepreneurship Day, an exciting agenda offers an opportunity for high school and technical school students to showcase their work as well as a chance to hear from leading experts on their stories and experiences.  A panel of inspiring entrepreneurs will share their expertise followed by a Q&A. Some national companies are already working to determine how their workers will be vaccinated and whether employers can require it. But in Vermont, where vaccination of the general public is months away, most managers say it’s too soon to start setting workplace policies on the vaccine. 
While many have started discussing the issue, almost all say they haven’t yet decided what guidance they’ll use with employees.
“We will ‘encourage’ for sure,” said Justin Worthley, senior vice president of human resources at Burton, which has about 400 employees in Burlington, most of them now working remotely. “We haven’t made any decisions about ‘require.’ ” ....
