Incumbent Patricia Dorsey defeated James Miller for the final seat on the Carroll County Board of Education, according the final county vote tallies that were certified Friday.
Berry said that all three of the county’s early voting sites were “breaking records” for turnout. A total of 14,445 Carroll County residents voted early.
Don West, chairman of the Carroll County Democratic Central Committee, said it’s “very frustrating” that few local Democrats are running for office in Carroll. He has no real answers as to why.
