Represent. one of the real problems is when you give out money, it s hard to take it back. we have built a very much a opportunity there for people that have access to money. the medicaid reforms need to be a part of this because we need accountability. i work on medicaid for 14 years in the state senate and it is repleat with fraud and abuse and waste of people who know how to exploit the system. if we give it back to the states and they have to manage it, most of the money comes from the federal government. and the states are the ones responsible for spending it. when we give it back to the states, the states will become more accountable and give greater oversight over eligibility and those providers that many of them know how to exploit the system. there s a lot of good things in the bill that are conservative components but responsible governing components, bring us better health care and more affordable and require less taxpayer dollars to do it. that all sounds great but how ....
