And how people feel about them. The family of a dubuque woman brutally raped and beaten to death in a random attack already knows how they feel. She had this distinct laugh. You could always tell she was there. Sue wulfekuhle remembers her aunt, nancy krapfl for the way she laughed and lived. Not for the random and brutal attack that took her life and shocked dubuque. On september first, police say krapfl was out for a walk. Traffic cameras on the corner of 17th street and Central Avenue captured Helmon Betwell grabbing krapfl. She fought back until he knocked her unconscious and dragged her lifeless body off camera where he admitted to rapping her. Police say the cameras helped them catch betwell within hours of the crime.
