Hermine is tracking up the east coast. This is a live look from Myrtle Beach South Carolina where the storm is bringing strong winds and rain this morning. Hermine made landfall a little more than 24 hours ago on floridas gulf coast. Panhandle crews got busy getting power restored to more than 250 thousand people. Hermine was a category 1 hurricane when it hit the state. The city of tallahassee says it has crews working to get power back on as quickly as possible. Were going around just trying to get as many people on as we possibly can, just start eliminating it down to smaller outages, everybody be patient, we are going at it as hard as we can. Morning. That makes it the first hurricane to hit the state of florida since wilma, in 2005. A National Statistic estimates 22 servicemen and women take their own lives, everyday.
