Rockstar Spirits has returned to its Panamanian rum distiller partner for the latest flavoured addition to its spiced rum stable.
The Cherry Bomb, which hits the UK next month, joins The Banana Bomb in Rockstar s The Bomb Series of flavoured spiced rums. Having spent two years in ex-Bourbon casks, the 57% abv rum is flavoured with cherries, almonds and spices.
The liquid has been sourced from an unnamed distillery in Panama. UK-based Rockstar uses rum from Guyana s Diamond Distillery for its The Grenade and Capt n Webb s Two Swallows brands.
Bombay Sapphire, Kopparberg, Crystal Head Vodka and a collaboration between HonestBrew and Northern Monk are among the latest crop of seasonal drink launches.
Laphroaig unveils 10 Year Old Sherry Oak
Beam Suntory’s Laphroaig has launched 10 Year Old Sherry Oak, a new take on its single malt and the drinks maker’s latest addition to the core range.
Finished in Oloroso sherry casks for twelve to eighteen months, this new expression combines the flavour of the Laphroaig 10 Year Old with the flavours of the sherry casks.
The cask combination creates notes of Manuka honey, bacon, and maple syrup, alongside smoke, seaweed, and hint of salt.

Lookers PLC (LON:LOOK) has accelerated after the car dealership issued a positive first quarter update even though its showrooms were shut thanks to the COVID-19 lockdown.
It said it continued to take orders and fulfil vehicle handovers through its dealership teams, call centres and website.
It said: These activities were underpinned by our new Click and Drive and contactless technology platform, which has allowed us to service the increased demand through digital channels.
