PHOENIX, AZ Arizona Gives Day 2021 shattered the organization s record for donations, raising more than $7 million for local nonprofits.
The 24-hour fundraising event, which was held on April 6, raised $7.1 million in total, which exceeds last year s total by more than $1 million, the organization said.
This year s festivities saw more than 40,000 donations, supporting 982 nonprofit organizations in the state of Arizona, with more than 1,500 donors pledging 61.400 volunteer hours as well during the event.

The average amount raised per organization in 2021 was $7,218 with an average donation of $210.53, the event s organizers said. ....
