The 24-hour fundraising event, which was held on April 6, raised $7.1 million in total, which exceeds last year s total by more than $1 million, the organization said. This year s festivities saw more than 40,000 donations, supporting 982 nonprofit organizations in the state of Arizona, with more than 1,500 donors pledging 61.400 volunteer hours as well during the event.
