In arkansas and oklahoma, as the arkansas river continues to swell. many homes are already flooded in the river is expected to reach a record crest. we have fox news team coverage. meteorologist adam klotz is tracking the flood and severe weather threats. we begin with matt finn in arkansas. happening right now, fort smith official tele 640 homes have been affected or already flooding here and they expect tt 1,000 homes by tomorrow when the arkansas river is forecasted to crest at 42.5 feet, double the flood stage and an all-time high. this river has been raging. we have been watching it rise. if you look out here, there is a lock and dam tower. the garage doors there, probably halfway underwater. two army corps of engineers workers had to be rescued by helicopters from the roof of the building because the floodwaters trapped them. to the right, the chain-link fence police tell us is 10 feet tall. ....

Let s go straight to bill karins for the latest. where garrett is, that water may be there until september 20th. that s incredible. that s another three weeks. the story is still unfolding. most of the water has been receding, but in some areas, a record crest, and in beaumont, their water system is going to fail in the next couple hours, the water pressure, that river near them is not going to crest until the upcoming weekend, five feet above record heights. the storm is over louisiana. the concern is up toward the memphis area, western tennessee when we get into the hill country. a lot of heavy rain later tonight. we re expecting the red and pumping, isolated totals up to 7 to 8 inches. we have a high risk of flash flooding in this region. they said even life threatening flash flooding is possible. the next system is irma. ....
