all right. we will continue to watch these pictures. top of the hour and right now hunter biden s legal team is making closing arguments in his criminal gun trial. hunter himself did not take the stand. he faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted on all three counts. at this pace, because the prosecution has finished closing arguments and the defense has begun, the jury could get this case before leaving tonight. hour two of america reports. this case is moving at lightning speed. to be too good to be with you, i m sandra smith in new york. the prosecution gave closing arguments i made it clear to the jury that only one things mattered when deciding the fate of the president s son is evidence. the prosecution open with a bang and this is what they did. they pointed to where the first lady was sitting, where all of hunter biden s family was sitting to support him, and they said this. the people sitting in this gallery are not evidence. to be able to present to the jury
dramatic moment in court where the prosecutor at 1 point pointed right where the first lady was sitting. judge jeanine pirro joins us on all of the scenes playing out right now. stunning new video just released by israeli officials. this video is incredible. the daring rescue of 4 israeli hostages you see on the screen. you will see the operatives as they burst into the room. they find 3 of the hostages huddled together. they were living in a residence surrounded by hamas. they were basically huddled on the floor. watch. unbelievable. absolutely incredible. the soldiers were hurrying to free these hostages to a waiting helicopter. there was lots of drama between that. a vehicle became unusable and they had to switch them to another vehicle. remember this woman, there she is clinging to the helicopter. she became 1 of the most recognized faces of this october 7th attack because she was the woman carried away on the back of a motorcycle and was screaming don t kill me a choose
that argument? i agree. there are kind of two rebuttal arguments here. he wasn t actually doing the job. he was going outside of it. and then there is a little issue as well. i think the judge is just going to have to sort through all of this and decide whether he was acting within the scope or whether he overstepped the bounds. and i think there are decent arguments on both sides, but ultimately the better arguments are on the prosecutor s side here. elie, what did you make of what marc short told me? i think it was a good point. it s one thing for mark meadows to say just sort of generally what i was doing was within the scope of being chief of staff. but when he was confronted on the stand yesterday with specific entertaistatements and calls, it got a lot harder. he s saying the chief of staff is a unique job in our federal government because it s properly both federal governmental and political. i don t know that the judge is going to buy that.

hello. did not look away. they didn t even look away when he was showing things on the screen. they re eyes were river etted upon him. i think it s probably of the best rebuttal arguments i ve
