Moderna Vaccine Shipments to Florida Delayed By Bad Weather

Shipments of one of the COVID-19s vaccine to Florida are being delayed.
The state has been notified that federal deliveries of Moderna vaccine are still delayed by severe weather, the Florida Division of Emergency Management tweeted this Thursday afternoon. The state is working closely with providers to reschedule appointments as needed & we will continue to provide updates as they are received.

A firefighter in Florida has been charged with taking part in last week s rioting at the Capitol.

UPDATE: Our news partners at the Tampa Bay Times are now reporting that Governor DeSantis was incorrect when he said a nurse at Tampa General Hospital was the first person in Florida to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. According to the Times, that distinction actually belongs to the CEO of UF Health, who received the vaccine in Jacksonville.
Spectrum News is working to independently confirm this new information.
