bret: there are major concerns tonight that chinese hackers have stolen the plans for top defense systems. it s the latest and most serious event in a burgeoning cyber war between the u.s. and china. national security correspondent jennifer griffin has the specifics. chinese hackers have accessed the designs of the u.s. military most prized and secret weapons systems. according to confidential annex of a recent defense department report obtained by the the washington post. sources familiar with the defense science board s findings confirm to fox that nearly two dozen weapon systems appear to have been compromised. the navy s premier ballistic missile defense system and the advanced pack three patriot missile system. both recently deployed to asia. amidst rising tension with north korea. china s client state. the u.s. military recently sold to japan.
