And i dont just mean that mccarthy cant possibly get by the removed from office, which would involve not just an impeachment in the house, but a trial in the senate, i mean that it is unclear if mccarthy can even win an Impeachment Vote in the house. It is unpopular gambit with a smaller meeting faction of the Republican Party that still cares about governing, which is probably why mccarthy opened the Impeachment Inquiry without holding a vote as customary and as he had earlier indicated that he would do. Why would the speaker of the u. S. House of representatives third in line in the presidency, launch a presidency that appears to be both strategically and politically unwise . Easy.
