For the theatre community, the last month of the year is usually a time for winding down, taking stock, balancing the books (sparse as they might be), and carefully putting away the implements of a year-long engagement with the practice. Then again, in this uncommon year, that was perhaps all one could do over months of uncertainties and speculation, spent milling in the uncanny limbo of an entire trade brought to a grinding halt by a super-spreading virus.

Divya Bhatnagar: The TV actress of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame passed away on December 7 after battling Covid-19 for the past few weeks. She was hospitalised since November after contracting the virus. She was 34. Divya had also featured in shows like Tera Yaar Hoon Main , Udaan , Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre and Vish .

Veteran Actor Ravi Patwardhan Passes Away 35
New Delhi: Veteran stage, TV and film actor, Ravi Patwardhan, breathed his last in Thane at the age of 83. The reason behind the sudden demise of the 83 years old actor is being said heart attack.
According to a report, the actor was not coming for the shooting and was staying away from the sets as a precautionary measure against Coronavirus.
The veteran actor is now survived by his wife, two sons, daughters-in-law, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.
Patwardhan has acted in over 250 movies, TV serials- both Marathi and Hindi- and some of his memorable roles include that of a public prosecutor in the Anil Kapoor-Madhuri Dixit movie
