Swedish climate Activist Greta Thunberg, on Friday, 19 February, took to social media to express solidarity with 22-year-old Disha Ravi who has been arrested on charges of ‘sharing and spreading an incriminating toolkit’ on farmers’ protest, that allegedly led to the violence in Delhi on 26 January.
Thunberg, on Friday, shared a picture of Disha Ravi on Facebook with the hashtag “Stand With Disha Ravi” and wrote:
“Freedom of speech and the right to peaceful protest and assembly are non-negotiable human rights. These must be a fundamental part of any democracy. #StandWithDishaRavi.”
Thunberg also shared the same message on Twitter, along with a thread by Fridays for Future India in support of Disha Ravi.

i m laughing over here because i know you ve had to follow this as a big story. this is a massive franchise, the real house wicwives. it s not a small case. no, it s not. if convicted on all of these charges, they could go to prison for up to 50 years. fifty? 5-0. 50. bank fraud, mail fraud, loan application fraud charges, lots of different things that are all spelled out in this indictment. it is not a small case. it definitely isn t. you just spoke about it, some of the things that they alleged that they were making up incomes for themselves in order to get bang loans, in order to get home loans, in order to get and then saying it live on tv, right? evidence to the whole country. well, during the first season at one point, she was shopping for furnishing her new home and had a wad of money and spent $120,000, it seemed, in cash to
