A mandatory evacuation was ordered for downtown gatlinburg as flames and choking smoke swept through the area around the Great National mountain park. An advisory was issued there, some were also evacuated. Police have been going door to door to warn residents. The wind direction is swirling. Weve picked up many embers and started spot fires. Multiple trees began to fall, taking down power line which is caused other fires to occur. We are in the process of fighting multiple natural fires. The National Guard has been also evacuated last night. Its hoped that overnight rain will help control the fires.
