Agartala/UNI: Tripura CPI(M) MLA Samsul Haque from the Boxanagar Assembly Constituency died of cardiac arrest on Wednesday in the wee hours at Agartala Govt Medical College (AGMC).
Tripura CM Dr Manik Saha suspended all his public events for the day as a mark of respect for Haque. CPIM state secretary Jitendra Chaudhary said Haque's "untimely death is an irreparable loss".
