Maruti Suzuki India sets up multi-speciality hospital in Ahmedabad

Maruti Suzuki India in partnership with Zydus Hospitals has set up a multi-speciality hospital at Sitapur in Ahmedabad district of Gujarat.
At a total capital expenditure of Rs 126 crore, the hospital has been fully funded by the Maruti Suzuki Foundation a CSR initiative of Maruti Suzuki. The hospital will be managed and operated by Ramanbhai Foundation, the CSR arm of Zydus Group.
Kenichi Ayukawa, MD and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India, said, “When our Gujarat car plant started, there was no major medical facility available in the region. We decided to build a good quality multi-speciality hospital partnered with one of the best names in healthcare – Zydus Hospitals. Fortunately, it was ready in time for the Covid-19 second wave and we have converted it into a Covid care facility to help fight the pandemic.” ....

Maruti Suzuki has partnered with Zydus Hospitals to open a multi-speciality hospital in Sitapur, Gujarat.
The new hospital has been set up at a cost of Rs. 126 crore and completely funded by the Maruti Suzuki Foundation - a CSR initiative of the company. The hospital will be managed and operated by Ramanbhai Foundation - the CSR arm of Zydus Group.
The hospital is expected to serve over 3.75 lakh people, including Covid-19 patients, residing in Becharaji, Sitapur, Mandal, Mehsana, Patan, Viramgam and nearby districts. The facility is spread over 7.5 acres and has 50 beds at present. However, this number can be increased to 100 beds depending upon the demand. ....

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has announced that it has started a multi-speciality hospital in Sitapur, Ahmedabad District of Gujarat. The manufacturer has invested a total of Rs 126 crore and the hospital is funded 100% by the Maruti Suzuki Foundation, which is a CSR initiative of MSIL.
