AT IMPRESS PRINTING IN DOWNTOWN, KANSAS CITY WE SPECIALIZE IN PRINTING FOR PEOPLE THAT CARE ABOUT THEIR PRINTING THINGS ARE SLOWLY RETURNING TO NORMAL LIKE MANY BUSINESSES THE PANDEMIC FLIPPED THIS FAMILY-OWNED PRINTER UPSIDE DOWN. WE BASICALLY SHUT DOWN THE BUSINESS SENT PEOPLE HOME. THE PRESSES WERE DOWN FOR MORE THAN A MONTH AND WHEN THEY TURNED BACK ON BUSINESS HAD NEARLY VANISHED NONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS WERE WORKING S YOU KNOW, NO BUT NOBODY KNEW WHAT TO DO. KANSAS CITY, Mo. - It s no shock utility payments are a concern after the recent cold weather and the power companies are warning people they re hearing about more scams. Utility companies, like Evergy and Kansas City, Kansas Board of Public Utilities, said scammers are calling customers posing as legitimate utility companies.

Like many people in March 2020, the owners at downtown Kansas City printing company MPress thought the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic would be over in a few weeks or months. When it started we really did not know the magnitude, said Ralph Myers, who started MPress with his wife and son 20 years ago.

CLEVELAND, Ohio Had it not been for the pandemic, theatergoers in Northeast Ohio might be talking about that performance of “The Cher Show” they just saw at Playhouse Square, or making plans to see the Great Lakes Theater’s production of “Agatha Christie’s Black Coffee” at the Hanna this weekend.
Instead, theatres across the region remain dark for the 49th consecutive week. But there is light at the end of the tunnel.
