Raleigh police investigate shooting that left woman dead

Police identified the victim as Andrea Elizabeth Lucas, 56.
Police responded Wednesday about 8:40 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 4700 block of Mallory Court. They found Lucas suffering from gunshot wounds. She was taken to WakeMed but died from her injuries.
The case remains under investigation.

RALEIGH (WTVD) Raleigh police said a woman was killed and a man was seriously injured in a Friday night shooting.
Officers were called to the 400 block of Lansing Street between Poole Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard just before 9 p.m.
Nicole Dixon, 43, died from her injuries. The male victim is seriously hurt but the injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
The investigation remains underway.

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) â Raleigh police are releasing more details into a shooting at Crabtree Valley Mall involving at least two people from a large group.
In 911 calls released on Friday, one caller can be heard breathing heavily, telling a dispatcher that they were barricaded inside of a store stock room while observing others ârunning and screamingâ.
