Good morning, tracy. Were tracking showers and thunderstorm activity. The thunderstorms just offshore of atlantic city. They move through the cape may area, heavy downpours there. The threat this morning, the concern for more flooding rain is this line of showers thats to the west. We have some mainly light rain in the area right now but these heavier showers will swing through, already starting to come down in parts of the Lehigh Valley and the western suburbs. Thats a possibility this morning. Well see more heavy downpours. Were continuing our if first alert this morning, into delaware, new jersey, philadelphia and the suburbs, the possibility this morning of more flash flooding. The threat will end this afternoon. A cable was again somehow damaged causing the track to lose power. This time it was a quick and easy evacuation for those on board. Passengers say they were waiting for two hours to be rescued. Everyone is now off of the train safe. A bit of a half having to get all of our stuff. We did not expect it. But i did get a call from a relative and he let me kind of prepared. Reporter we did speak to some of the passengers who were on the stuck train. What they had to say to r, d and their advice rtd and their advice. A group of neighbors in Highlands Ranch filed an injunction trying to stop expansion of c470. And thats groundbreaking of the big project this morning. Cdot is adding express lanes to ease the congestion on a busy stretch of the highway. Some of the neighbors dont want that construction to move forward.
