Neighbors of dolores park say a sunny weekend in San Francisco is a blessing and a curse. They love seeing people come out and enjoy the newly renovated park, but they dont love when people leave all their trash behind. As the sunset on dolores park, we wanted to see if this crowd would leave as big a mess as saturdays crowd. Neighbors say it was mess that happens so often. There is so much trash. It seems like a lot of people from out of town who come to visit for the day and dont really take c

merced, fresno, modesto, stockton and others. he lost his job when the housing market collapsed. everybody broke. you can t find a job. everybody is living hard times now. it s a hard time in merced. reporter: the lack of jobs in merced county is hitting every aspects of life and elected leaders are not optimistic about any kind of quick turnaround. 18% unemployment is huge. it s almost one in five. reporter: the board of supervisors chairman says leaders are work on recruiting businesses and encouraging everyone to buy local. i don t think that anyone likes to see those kinds of that you re number one in that kind of criteria. you want to be number one in those kind of things in the ones you write home to mom about. reporter: while the physical signs of economic distress such as vacant buildings may be plainly visible, marco says it s harder to see the human toll. sometimes it s hard to sleep. what s going to come up the next day? reporter: merced where we
years ago. she claims a swiss ice watch worth $22,500 was stolen from her during the raid a watch she shared with her boyfriend. a man at the house was later convicted for dealing drugs. since the bust, curtis has called reputedly to try and get her watch repeatedly to try and get her watch back. police said they doesn t know what she was talking about. after lombardi was arrested, his employer called jennifer curtis in to look at evidence. they said is this the watch that you bought? she said yes. this is an expensive unique ice watch. reporter: why was it in the 30 possession of the police department? they wouldn t say. my suspicions it s either wielsch or lombardi. reporter: they can t comment because it s part of a federal investigation. the antioch police department is fighting the lawsuit saying except for one occasion in 2007, it s not worked with cnet on any of these occasions. as for the surveillance camera being turned away, antioch s attorney tells cbs 5
