Popular music festival in tune for major comeback

Premium Content Subscriber only One of the Coast s biggest music festivals will make a return this year but with reduced crowd capacity. The Caloundra Music Festival will rock on at Kings Beach for a three-day event after last year s event was cancelled due to the pandemic. The festival will run from October 1 to 3 with a reduced crowd capacity from 10,000 to 6000 revellers. Sunshine Coast Council division two councillor Terry Landsberg said the revised format aimed to increase the safety of patrons, artists, crew, volunteers, vendors, staff and community. We are excited to engage with our festival family again and provide some much anticipated entertainment over the October long weekend, he said.
