A hotel quarantine guest on their way back from hospital to their accommodation in a Queensland Health-approved taxi ride allegedly stopped at a 7-Eleven service station on the way, breaching regulations.
A police investigation is under way and the incident occurred before Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young ordered hotel quarantine guests must travel to and from hospital in an ambulance.
The allegation is that a quarantine guest on the Gold Coast was being taken from hospital to their government-mandated hotel in a taxi, when it stopped at a 7-Eleven service station.
