UK’s distributor of global footwear brands Gardiner Brothers & Co has taken a 116,00 sq ft warehouse at St. Modwen Logistics’ St Modwen Park Gloucester.
The footwear specialist has signed a 10-year agreement for a build-to-suit unit at the 58-acre site which, when complete, could create up to 50 new jobs for the local area.
St. Modwen plans to commence construction on the new unit in March, which will be ready for occupation in September 2021.
This unit will be the third St. Modwen facility to be occupied by Gardiner Brothers in Gloucester since signing the first deal at Quedgeley West Business Park in 2008.
Development is on track to bring 400 new jobs to Gloucester
Fifty new roles could be created by Gardiner Brothers & Co’s moving to a new Gloucester business park, but hundreds more new jobs are also in the pipeline for the site by the end of 2021.
