Engineers Australia Qatar Chapter elects new executive committee 31 Jan 2021 - 7:56 Australian Ambassador to Qatar Jonathan Muir The Peninsula The Ambassador of Australian to Qatar, H E Jonathan Muir, facilitated the newly elected Executive Committee and Team members of Engineers Australia Qatar Chapter at a function held at Australian embassy premises in Doha on January 26, 2021, the Australia Day. The Ambassador in his address congratulated the newly elected members and committed to provide his full support to the committee in its mission. The Ambassador highlighted the efforts and contribution of Australian Engineers in some of Qatar’s iconic development projects. The 2020 committee conducted a virtual elections in the AGM held on December 8, 2020 where the members elected Mahmoud Fahmy as President, Tamer Naguib as Deputy President, Asif Rahmany as Secretary, Abdulaziz Al Bardawil as Treasurer and eight committee ordinary members.
