BJP MLA Mahesh Landge, who was present at the event along with Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, said the Udyamnagar and Mohan Nagar projects are part of PM Modi’s ‘Houses for All’ initiative.
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken up widening of Ganeshkhind road from Pune University junction to Sancheti hospital junction, from 36 metres to 45 metres, with Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) building a two-storey bridge with elevated metro rail above and a flyover below it.
The service is expected to ferry nearly 30,000 passengers per hour during peak hours between the Information Technology Park in Hinjewadi and Shivajinagar in city.
