Premium Content Subscriber only A Coast man is one step closer to going to jail after he was sentenced for being a drunken pest at a popular Noosa Heads pizza bar. Peter James Cherry, 46, pleaded guilty in Noosa Magistrates Court on Tuesday to committing a public nuisance within a licenced premise and obstructing police. The court heard Cherry while on a drunken night out entered Somedays Pizza on Sunshine Beach Rd at Noosa Heads as staff were closing the restaurant. Joseph Dean Keys, 23, is charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, two counts of obstructing police, committing a public nuisance in a licenced venue and seriously assaulting a police officer while under the influence. His older brother, Jacob James Keys, 35, is charged with two counts of obstructing police and committing public nuisance within a licensed premise.
