Can bring some solutions. don t forget, this is not a problem that started with ferguson. this is a problem that s been going on for years. many remember when police officers beat rodney king. why hasn t this been fixed over the years? the naacp is 105 years old. we ve introduced legislation to congress with everything from racial profiling to the use of force by police officers. but because of police unions and other issues, we ve been unable to get it the kind of hearing it needs so changes can be made. if we re not able to recognize this time when we re seeing this coordinated challenge and problem across the country, because we re in an era now where everybody has a video camera on their telephones, we can bring more of that visual imaging and evidence before everyone, change can be made. so our process is to make sure that every member of congress is held accountable. many of these changes can t be made without the congress. we re delighted with how the president s moving forw ....
