Because so many of the departments are allowed to self-report. in addition to that, we have no idea how many people are actually shot by police officers every year in this country, so those are some really problematic issues that affect more than just black people. it affects everyone. and just something else to throw by you, the u.s. justice department issued this scathing report on cleveland police calling the police department there chaotic and dangerous, no mention of racial profiling, just bad policing. so i ll ask you again, is it possible that garner s case was just a case of bad policing? it s basically bad policing that obviously included aspects of implicit racism. the reason why i say that is because we know from research that police officers tend to view black men as more hostile than any other racial group. we know from research and data ....

Night. we shut stuff down, they re not saying stuff. left the train station, union station, now here, entering the wal-mart. last hour we were discussing whether they would shut down, highway 395, major interstate in d.c. just as they did last night. sure enough, protesters, 200, 300, gathered on the freeway. 395. stood there. protesting. for about 10 minutes. several instances, protesters blocked traffic. laid down in front of police cars or vehicles to do a die in to represent the deaths of those, who have been killed by police. but, i will tell you this. a lot of folks out here. they feel that they re, making a difference. this its what it is going to take to make a difference when it comes to racial profiling. when it comes to police ....
