HOUSTON A woman who slipped in the United Airlines terminal at George Bush International is claiming the negligence of the airline, the City of Houston and its janitorial service. Spahi was traveling from Phoenix, Arizona to Jacksonville, Florida on Dec. 3, 2019, which included a stop over at George Bush International Airport, according to her complaint. She alleges that while she and her family were making their way to their terminal to board their United Airlines flight, she slipped on a napkin or paper towel and fell on the Terrazzo tile flooring.
