MEULABOH - Universitas Teuku Umar (UTU) akan menerjunkan sebanyak 97 mahasiswa ke beberapa kabupaten di Pantai Barat Selatan Aceh dalam rangka melaksanakan program pencegahan stunting melalui Implementasi Kampus Merdeka.
Para mahasiswa diberangkatkan Senin (26/7/2021) hari ini sebagai tindak lanjut dari program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PKKM) yang dimenangkan oleh UTU dengan mengangkat isu pencegahan stunting di Provinsi Aceh.
Rektor Universitas Teuku Umar, Prof Dr Jasman J Ma ruf kepada Serambi, Minggu (25/7/2021) menjelaskan, 97 mahasiswa UTU akan diturunkan ke lapangan untuk magang selama 6 bulan dalam rangka pencegahan angka stunting di Aceh. ....

A lawsuit brought by the widow of a sea captain who died after contracting the coronavirus last year was settled out of court last week, ending the opportunity for the case to set a precedent about whether American maritime law extends to such hazards.
The case had been brought in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana in New Orleans under the 1920 Jones Act, which gives seamen who are not eligible for traditional federal worker’s compensation some protection for the unique risks they face aboard vessels. ....
