Prevea to offer COVID-19 vaccine for children 5 to 11 at select locations, starting Nov 8

PREVEA ANNOUNCES COVID TESTING CHANGES IN SHEBOYGAN COUNTY

By Kevin Zimmermann Apr 9, 2021 7:07 AM COVID-19 testing by Prevea at Sheboygan’s Southtown Mall will come to a close after this Sunday, April 11th.  Prevea has partnered with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to provide the free service, and beginning Monday the option will be available only at the Prevea Sheboygan Health Center on North Taylor Drive, or at Prevea Plymouth Health Center on Walton Drive. Those seeking a test don’t have to be a Prevea patient, but must still create a free account at myprevea.com in order to set up an appointment.  Those without internet access can schedule by phone at (920) 272-3540.  Test results are available in 2 to 4 days.

First Vaccinations Now Being Administered At St Nicholas

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital by Kevin Zimmermann SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – The first COVID-19 vaccinations to health care workers at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital were administered on Tuesday, providing a “light at the end of the tunnel” according to  St. Nicholas President and CEO Justin Selle. The first treatment to prevent infection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19 was given to a number of St. Nicholas Hospital and Prevea Health employees.  Workers of those two institutions will continue being vaccinated over the coming days and weeks. One of the first to receive the vaccine was Vicki Zimmerman, an environmental services associate at St. Nicholas, who said: “I am very excited and grateful to be vaccinated today, and feel a greater sense of safety.”
