In just one week, hair salons are reopening and we’ve never been more excited to try out a new chop. But what’s in style now? From short to long, curly to straight, look no further than these four coming-out-of-lockdown cuts.
The Fonda (layers, layers, layers)
This look works for shoulder- to long- length hair. Ask your stylist for a heavy fringe that’s tapered at the outer edges, and to create short layers around the crown for a choppy style, inspired by a ’70s Jane Fonda. This looks great dried naturally, allowing your hair to do its own thing. Scrunch in a pea-sized amount of soft clay, like Larry King’s Velvet Texture Clay, £22, to enhance the layers and bring out the details of the cut.
