PORTAGE, MI Portage school leaders increased the school superintendent’s compensation this week.
Portage Public Schools Board of Education voted Monday, Dec. 14, to extend Superintendent Mark Bielang’s contract and increase his tax-sheltered annuity. This came after a “highly effective” rating from the board at a meeting in June.
