The evidence in secret appears to be overwhelming. And yet, why cant we do the american thing . Have a public trial, accuse them, and convict them in a court. It is more difficult to believe in the concept of innocent until Proven Guilty when the accused is unpopular or hated. The principle of innocent until Proven Guilty is more difficult when the accused is charged with treason. The bill of rights is easy. President s today and in the future would be able to treat the entire United States code as mere guidelines and pick and chose among its provisions which to enforce
