A bus coming from Hyderabad to Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur met with an accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district late Friday night, killing 15 persons and injuring 40, most of them labourers heading home for Diwali.
"The ill-fated bus was negotiating a mountain road in Sohagi ghati, when it rammed into a trailer-truck from behind on national highway (NH)-30, about 60 km from the district headquarters," Rewa Superintendent of Police Navneet Bhasin said.
