St Martin News Network - Extended Hours for COVID-19 Drive Through Testing Site Temporary number in place for CPS Youth Health Care/Baby Wellness Clinic

Starting Monday, May 31 the hours will go into effect as follows: Monday- Friday 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, Saturday drive through testing at CPS Offices at the Vineyard Office Park Building 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Clients of CPS Youth Health Care and the Baby Wellness Clinic are hereby informed, that the latter has been experiencing some challenges with the telephone network. Clients of CPS Youth Health Care and Baby Wellness Clinic can reach both entities (temporarily) by calling 520-4163 between the hours of 8:30 AM to 5.00 PM (Mon-Fri) or persons can call 914 and request to be transferred to the Baby Wellness Clinic. Both agencies apologize for any inconvenience caused and ask for your patience as the telephone system is upgraded.

Published: 05 May 2021 PHILIPSBURG (DCOMM): - The Collective Prevention Services (CPS), a department in the Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labour (Ministry VSA), would like to inform that the CPS COVID-19 Drive Through testing remains open. All persons are encouraged to come to the testing location in Pointe Blanche (before the entrance to the Dr. A.C. Wathey Cruise & Cargo Facility) Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Testing is free; however, this is not for travel purposes. Weekend testing remains by appointment only. 914 Information Line is still operational. The hours of 914 are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Please note that due to low call volumes the time was adjusted from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

St Martin News Network - AUC Students provide information and assistance with the registration for the COVID-19 Vaccine over the Easter Weekend

Published: 06 April 2021 PHILIPSBURG (DCOMM): - On Thursday, April 1st, and Saturday, April 3rd, several students from the American University of the Caribbean (AUC) volunteered their time and energy to provide information to the public about the COVID-19 vaccine and assist with the registration process. On Thursday, the COVID-19 vaccination information and registration stands were located at Premiere Supermarket across from Colosseum Crossfit in Cay Hill, Greens Market in Cole Bay, and Carrefour Bush road. On Saturday there were two stands at Sunny Foods and again at Carrefour Bush Road. Information about the COVID-19 vaccines was provided, along with practical information about the rollout campaign on Sint Maarten. The students also registered persons on the spot, which has led to a significant rise in vaccination registrations over the weekend.
