We begin with a developing story out of costa rica where 12 people, 10 of them american tourists, were killed in a plane crash. The single engine charter plane went down in a wooded area shortly after takeoff. Among the americans on board, a family of five from suburban new york, identified as bruce and Irene Steinberg and their three sons. Horrified vacationers saw the plane go down and rushed to the wreckage to try to help. My family and i were having lunch and we heard the plane coming overhead pretty low, so we all left the table to go see the plane pass overhead with our kids. And as it flew over the top of us, it made a really hard lefthand turn and was totally sideways and then nose dived straight into the ground and there was an explosion. A florida couple and their daughter were on board as well as two costa rican pilots. A a deadly discovery. Five body inside a home in modesto in central valley. Police are treating it as a crime scene and have named a person of interest in the case. Good evening. Abc 7 News Reporter live in the newsroom with the latest on the breaking story. Sergio. This is a Murder Investigation that has been in progress now for just a few hours. Police in modesto are still piecing together the details. Heres what we know. At 3 30 this afternoon. Officers were called for a Security Check on a home on the 26,000 block. When they arrived they found five body two. Adults. Three children. Police have not released details on how the people may have been killed. But in the last hour, they have i identified 30yearold Martin Martinez as a person of interest in what they say is the Murder Investigation. They warn martin is may be armed and should be kidded dangerous. You have five people that have been injured. He is he is definitely somebody we want to talk to quickly. Martinez may be driving
Savings accounts are made quarterly. So after a fiscal quarter ends, parents report back to the state department of education and what they use the cards for. They report the cards back to the seats. The department reviews them, makes sure everything is in line and then they make the next quarters dispersement. The county can intervene and withhold funding from the next dispersement is f. F there is a problem with the families using the card. They recently said there have only been five instances where there is a significant financial, you know, issue or misuse of the card which among which is now going on probably were getting close to 3,000 accountses.
