they are useful if you have a plant growing in your garden or you are out for a walk and you see a plant and don t know what it is. they will give you a good indication if you want to know what that might be. i think they are really good for engaging the public with plants and we generally know that people may be a little bit to [ash attention to plants than animals. are a little bit less attention. these offer a really easy way to engage with plants and understand a little bit more about the natural world around us. i think that is a huge benefit for them, that they are able to do that. they are potentially useful in a lot of said to send projects, where we get the public to engage with science projects and that in a lot of ways. and they do i think have a role in education as well and looking at how we teach people to learn what plants are. again, we say

It may be a little unconventional, but Switzerland County High School will hold its Winter Homecoming tomorrow (Friday) night. The festivities will be included in the boys junior varsity and varsity home basketball games with Shawe Memorial.
Traditionally one the biggest crowds of the year, this year’s Homecoming will be held in compliance with guidelines surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Switzerland County High School Principal David Todd said that each player, cheerleader, and Homecoming candidate will be allowed to bring four family members to Homecoming. Those family members will be required to sign in at the desk in the lobby of the high school. No other fans will be allowed into the gym.
i was very listless. reporter: on memorial day ron s wife called 911 and he was rushed to the hospital where doctors took these x-rays and found his left lung collapsed. for two weeks they ran tons of tests but they all came back negative for cancer until one doctor found a plant growing in his lung. whether this would have gone full term and i d be working for the jolly green giant i don t know but i think that the thing that finally dawned on me is that it wasn t cancer. reporter: ron says he never felt anything growing in his chest, just a lot of coughing. doctors suspect he had eaten a pea at some point in the last couple months and it went down the wrong way and then began to grow. one the first meals i had in the hospital after the surgery had peas for the vegetable. i laughed to myself and ate them. reporter: his wife nancy, thrilled with his strange twist of fate. god has such a sense of humor. i mean, it could have been just nothing but it had to be a pea and it ha
