So far, we know more than two dozen homes have been damaged and it is being blamed for at least one death. Lets get the latest on this fire. Reporter i am here at the recreation center. We are about 13 miles east from portar ranch and that is the area where we are seeing the height of fire activity. What i can tell you is we are waiting for a 1 pm briefing. We are hoping for an update at that point on some of the statuses on this fire. It is a fatal fire. There is one fatality associated with this fire. We were learning this morning about that. Were told it was a man in his 50s who went into cardiac arrest. As for the acreage at this point, it still stands at 4700 containment at 0 . This is a very active fire.
