The modern Japanese restaurant arrived at 130 South Arizona Avenue in downtown Chandler and served its first bowl of Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen on Thursday, April 29. One very cool thing about JINYA? El Charro says on its Facebook that it will reopen May 5 or Cinco de Mayo from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for takeout only. The family-operated eatery El Charro Cafe was originally located at 416 West Main Street when it opened in the 1940s. It relocated to open as El Charro in 1958 at the Country Club Drive spot.
