House majority whip Steve Scalise is in Critical Condition this morning after a gunman opened fire on members of the republican congressional baseball team. Scalises left hip was hit with a shot, the bullet fractured bones, injured internal organs and caused severe bleeding. Scalise has already received multiple pients of blood and doctors say hell need further surgeries. Several others were also injured during the shooting. Matt mika, a lobbyist for tyson foods was in Critical Condition. Congressional aid Zachary Barth was also shot but posted a facebook and said hes okay and recovering in the hospital. His boss representative Roger Williams from texas suffered a sprained ankle during the incident. Two Capitol Police officers on scalises security detail were hospitalized. We are united in our shock. We are united in our anguish. And an attack on one of us is an attack on all of us.
