McComb confident on final day of runoff campaign

CORPUS CHRISTI, Tex. â As the cityâs mayoral runoff campaign neared the finish line, Mayor Joe McComb took a relatively easy approach to campaigning Monday.
McComb has served the city as its mayor for most of the last four years, and the day before the runoff, he wqs confident voters will send him back for another two years.
âPeople want⦠they want stability, they want confidence,â said McComb.
McComb was so confident heading into the runoff election, he spent the last day of the campaign making calls and not much else. However, he and his team are taking nothing for granted.
