Trash truck in philadelphias juniata section this morning. Action news has learned the search for the man began shortly before 6 00 a. M. On the 300 block of east erie avenue. Police say the man was sleeping in a dumpster when it was lifted into a Waste Management truck. Rescue crews spent nearly two hours trying to get him out of the truck. He was taken to Temple University hospital with lowerable hip and leg injuries. A crash involved three vehicles that happened about 6 oclock last night in the area of 495 and route 141. Officials say the 80yearold suffered head and facial injuries and remains hospitalized. Two other people at the scene were checked out by paramedics. No word on what caused the collision. Reverend al sharpton expected to visit philadelphia Rapper Meek Mill in prison today. Mill was sentenced to at least two years in prison for a probation violation. Good morning. This is nbc 10 news today. Im rosemary connors. Im dray clark. Its now just about 7 01 on this sunday morning. Were in the midst of rain, rain, rain. We want it to go away and look for the sun to return. Lets get to meteorologist krystal klei in the first alert center. When will the sun return sf. Were going to look at a better workweek forecast. Unfortunately, today, like the last three days, thats what weve got. First alert radar and satellite lit up in green indicating the rain that is falling. Were getting a break compared to where we were, say, a couple of hours ago when there was a bit more rain and it was heavier across the map. Area of heavy rain across Burlington County and pocket in Camden County. Youre about to get another good dousing to brown hills. But thats pretty much the only area of heavy rain right now. Thats not the only heavy rain. Theres more to come. Let me show you why. This warm front is pushing through currently. Its connected to a a warm front.

More rain moving through the area. Lets get a check on the first alert forecast from meteorologist krystal klei who is keeping track of the rain and hopefully sunshine in the near future. Not quite yet. We will see sun returning to the forecast. We want to know when, take a peek at the bottom of your screen. Its not too long away. Look at the radar and satellite. The rain has filled back in a bit since an hour or two ago a areas. The lighter green, the deeper green thats mostly a light to steadier rain. The yellows and oranges are pockets of hea you can see another round, sort of a line from allentown to d. C. Theres a few pockets of heavier rain over burlington and ocean counties and Mercer County as well. These are periodic bursts of heavier rain. Theyre moving pretty quickly. Gunshot wound to the head. Reporter over months after the murder of 64yearold Michael Mcnew bucks County District attorney announced an arrest in this case. Investigators charged 33yearold Jennifer Lynn morrissey with criminal homicide burglary and other charges. Not always mediate when you can catch a killer and in this instance it took a lot of cooperation, collaboration and just good Old Fashioned detective work. Reporter mcnew was found shot to death inside of his home along the Delaware River in Washington Crossing august 8th. The District Attorney confirms mcnew and morrissey lived together since the beginning of january of 2015. According to court documents, he wanted her out of the house and that likely fueled her anger and led to the shooting. News of the murder rattled this close knit community. Many describe mcnew as a nice man that never bothered anyone. I was stunned shocked to say the least. I know mike, you know, from being a neighbor and everything. Reporter police say
