Dow industrials up 8 points, nasdaq up about 30 and s p 500 higher by 2 and a quarter. Earnings will begin to flow for the Third Quarter next week with the major banks leading the action. Stocks finished the Third Quarter under selling pressure, down about 3 on average, take a look. The nasdaq was down better than 4 on the Third Quarter, markets are still higher for the year with the dow industrials up a fraction, the s p 500 higher by 11 and two thirds percent for the year so far, and the nasdaq higher by 26 and a th ....
