Siciliano had just been brought on as CEO for his reputation as a turnaround artist, having previously brought back three failing community banks from the brink of failure. So he knew he needed to start out building or rebuilding relationships with depositors who knew all too well the cold shoulders of a banking system that seemed at odds with their own personal values around people and planet.
“I was just dealing with this issue of how [to] communicate to people that when they choose a bank, they’re choosing more than a financial institution, they’re choosing to support its values and practices,” says Siciliano.
Pelosi emphasized the need for bipartisan support of the commission to investigate the Capitol attack in a Monday night letter, though the two parties are still divided on the basics.

This point is so obvious that it’s difficult to believe that Nancy Pelosi thought her proposal for an “independent” commission would survive without it being made. Pelosi wants Democrats appointed to seven of the eleven seats on the committee that will investigate the Capitol riot and its origins in the disputes over the November election.
Even Pelosi’s fellow Democrats think that’s a bad idea. Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) tells Chris Berman that not only should the commission be split evenly between Republicans and Democrats for maximum credibility, it shouldn’t include any officeholders or candidates either only people with no partisan axes to grind:
