Kohberger was taken into custody by a special team of police and fbi agents on an interesting felony warrant for murder. the arrest seems to have happened a little south of mount pocono, thousands of miles away from his home in pullman, washington, which is about ten miles away from that horrific crime scene. we also know that a white hyundai elantra that matched the description of the one that police was looking for was found at the home where he was arrested. so far, police have not said what led them to this arrest, we re expecting to hear more details at the press conference, in about a half an hour. and the big questions will be whether this may have been the car or possibly a dna match from genetic genealogy, or possibly one of the 20,000 or so tips that have come in about this case that really broke this case. and we ve been looking into the background of the suspect here, it looks like he was a ph.d. student at washington state university, studying criminology. again, that scho ....
